Check-in Poland mobile application is a useful tool for foreign visitors, created by Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Its aim is to help tourists, who have come to Poland for the UEFA Euro 2012 Championship, find their fellow countrymen and get in touch with them. This regards to the four Polish cities which host Euro 2012 matches, and also to Krakow.

Each user who downloads the application and completes the registration will be able to locate their fellow countrymen nearby and to see how many of them are there. Available functions will enable users to locate people to support favourite teams and to spend free time with.

The application contains a database of meeting places, divided by category (ie. landmarks, entertainment). Every location is described and accompanied by an image in order to facilitate its identification. The application contains an option which enables users to add own locations to the database and to share information about their location of Facebook.

In order to log in at a particular location, the user doesn't have to be there in person: a declaration of coming is enough to see, who also will be there. The application enables contact with other users via chat. Profiles of people present at a location will be visible as a nick and profile picture.

Additionally, the application informs about events important for football supporters, includes emergency phone numbers and contact information of diplomatic posts for the countries participating in the Euro 2012 tournament.
