The goal of this application is to utilize an Android device as a game controller that interfaces with open hardware such as Arduinos and Netduinos over an IP based network. The main purpose for doing this is to create and affordable and simple control system for robots. This available Android build is an early alpha version. The app currently defaults to sending data to the IP 192.168.1.22 on port 4444. In version 0.2 you can change these values (including packet transmit rate) by tapping the menu button and selecting Preferences. This preview build is intended to be used with either the Arduino sketch or Netduino app available for download.
Please visit http://code.google.com/p/ipgamepad/ to download the Netduino and Arduino code for implementing this control system fully. This app will do you no good if you do not have anything for it to send data to.
