SCUT gPen（gPen）is a handwritten input software released by HCLL Laboratory-SCUT. Characterized by the “multi-type”, the interface of gPen is artistic and easy to use. It is of high recognition accuracy due to the adoption of the most advanced identifying core technology.In the meantime, gPen provides rotating tilt correction, cloud calculative recognition and many other kinds of handwritten input function. It supports both Big5 and GB2312-80 Chinese character set, English case letters, numbers and punctuations. What is more, it supports more than 100 kinds of handwriting recognition of common symbols. The recognition of the mix of Chinese and English numbers and symbols is supported as well. In addition, gPen provides of phrase association, common symbols and simple PinYin input, which greatly improve user’s input efficiency and accuracy.


使用方法：下載后請“設定--語言與鍵盤”中勾選“SCUT gPen繁體手寫輸入法”；然後在任意一個文本編輯框（例如寫簡訊）中手指長按3~5秒鐘，在彈出的菜單中選擇“gPen繁體手寫輸入法”。

本次發佈的版本是繁體中文版，在介面設計实现了分區域書寫、全屏書寫等多種手寫輸入功能，同時還集成了英文鍵盤及數位記號鍵盤。
本版本支援優秀的片語聯想功能和極具特色的分字元集識別功能。
本次發佈的版本在片語聯想的基礎上加入了智慧詞頻調整功能，可以根據使用者的使用頻率自動調整候選詞的出現位置，保證最常用的詞出現在候選詞列表的前端位置，在設計上更加人性化。
本次發佈的版本支持BIG5中文字元集、GB2312-80簡體字元集、英文大小寫字母、數位、標點、100多種常用符號的手寫辨識，支援中英文數位記號混合識別，支援4種常用手勢（筆勢）的識別。
本輸入法帶有輸入法皮膚設置功能，並在輸入法中集成多種輸入法皮膚供用戶選擇。
本版本適用於Android 1.5以上版本（含1.5版本）。
支援簡繁體體中文字元集。
支援常用香港字元集。
